We should not have homework because it takes away time we could spend outside with friends. If we have practice or activities after school, we end up sitting inside for hours doing homework before we can go out or relax. This leaves little time for other things.
I believe we don’t need homework because we already spend about six hours a day in school. Why should we have extra work at home when school is like a full-time job? We already do more than enough during the school day.
According to LinkedIn, homework isn’t necessary because it contributes to increased anxiety, reduces social and playtime, and can take away from a love of learning.
Sunshine Learning Miami also says homework can stress students, reduce their performance at school, and leave them with less free time.
And that’s why I think we should not have any homework.
