Florida

Florida is a state in the southeast of USA and borders to Alabama and Georgia.

The capital of Florida is Tallahassee and the largest city is Jacksonville. Florida was admitted to the union on March 3, 1845, and that’s 178 years ago. In 2020 Florida was the third most populated state with over 21 million people. It also has the longest coastline in the USA.

In 1513 Florida was discovered by a European man named Ponce De Leon who called it Tierra de la Pascua Florida, which means Land of the Easter flowered.
