Ohio became the 17th state in 1803, but people didn’t like see it like a real state until 1953. Ohio gets its name from the Iroquois word Ohi-yo meaning “great river”. Ohio is 44,825 square miles. Ohio is in the Middle East of USA. In Ohio you can’t get arrested on the 4th of July and on Sundays. It is also not allowed to sell corn flakes on Sundays.
