In the Sea of Thieves you can go on epic quests with your friends like find the shroudbraker and unlock the shores of gold, you can sink so many ships you want to until your own ship sinks and if you want you can try to find the best way to make money and become a pirate millionaire.

Fighting
If you download sea of thieves you are asking for combat it’s seriously impossible to play it without fighting. So in the game without peace the dangers are other players, Megalodon, Kraken, fortresses, phantom/skeleton ships and just phantoms and skeletons in general. You can fight them using weapons of your choice, you can choose between Cutlasses, pistols, blundrebuss, and if you want something long range you could use the eye of reach.

Voyages
There are three main groups in sea of thieves there is the gold hoarders, order of souls, and the merchant alliance. Each of these groups has different types of voyages. A voyage is a type of quests. The gold hoarders have voyages that makes you go to an island and digg up treasure and then you bring it back to them if you choose to do voyages for the order of souls you have to go to an island and kill a skeleton captain and lastly if you want to help the merchant alliance you can get the quest to deliver something or bring them some animals. When you do these voyages you level up your reputation with the group you did the voyage for the better reputation the better you get paid from them and you can buy cosmetics that has the same theme as the group you are buying it from has. If you get to level 50 reputation in all of the three groups you become a pirate legend.

Tall tales
Tall tales are a longer type of quest and more story telling the quest can take between 1-2 hours to complete. In these quests you can get more rewards than just gold you can get curses, clothing, weapon/item skins. To get these rewards you have to do commendations. Commendations are achievements that you get for doing stuff in tall tales. There are three main tall tale story’s and two side story’s in the main story you can go to monkey island and solve the mystery’s there or you could get the shroudbreaker and go to the shores of gold and if you want to you can go help captain Jack Sparrow with his trubbels in the sea of the deamned. In the side story’s you can help Grace with her problems with Stitcher Jim, or you could help Arthur with his problems.

Athena’s blessing and the skeleton curse
In sea of thieves there is of course lore. You will learn about the lore in the tall tales, but in season 8 Rare introduced PvP matchmaking so now you can choose to be servants of the flame of join Athena. So when you choose a team as long as you are on that team one of the boats on the other team can go under water and pop up right in front of you and you can do the same of course you can go under water to. If you get to level 100 on the Athena team you can get the Athena’s blessing curse witch makes you a ghost and if you get to level 100 on the servants of the flame team you get the skeleton curse witch you guessed it turns you into a skeleton.

World event
While you are playing sea of thieves you may see a weird shaped cloud in the sky. These clouds are called world events. World events can be you fighting against ghost fleets, ashen lords, Skelton fleets, skeleton forts. There is different types of skeleton forts there is the normal ones that just makes you fight some skeletons and get some loot that’s not very good loot unlike the two special ones the special ones are the Fort of the damned (FOTD) and the Fort of fortune (FoF) these ones have better loot like the FOTD has the chest of legends (selling for 8,600-11,000 gold) or the FoF that has the chest of fortune (selling for 20.000 gold) and the chest of legends?
