Vermont is a State in England State. Its capital city is Montpelier and its biggest city is Burlington. The state is bordering to New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Vermont was the 14. first state. So it don’t count as the 13th first. Vermont became a state in 1791. About 649,000 people lived there in 2020.
Vermont is the largest producer of maple syrup in the US.🍁
So maple cream is the national dessert.



The Vermont flag is blue and have the coat of arms in the middle. The flag was introduced June 1. 1923. In the coat of arms there are a fir tree, an animal and three sheaves of wheat 🌾. The deer on top represents Vermont’s wildlife. And the cow and three sheaves of wheat represents the diary and agriculture industries.
Vermont’s name comes from two French words: vert, that mean’s green and mont that means mountain, so Vermont’s nickname is the green mountain ⛰️.


Most people wants to visit Vermont in fall because of the beautiful colours on the trees.
